Make Life Easier and Save Money With Direct Deposit of Your Paycheck into Your Alterna Prepaid Mastercard® Account!

How to Sign-Up for Direct Deposit of Your Payroll Check

You will receive a direct deposit form with your personalized card in the mail or you can print the form by logging into your account. Your account number and routing number will be printed on the form. Give the form to our employer to begin receiving direct deposit into our Alterna Card account.

Inform your employer that the daily load limit for Direct Deposit is $5,000 and the maximum balance in your card account is $5,000. The total monthly load limit onto your Alterna Mastercard for all cash, check and ACH loads combined (which includes Direct Deposit loads) is $9,500.

Benefits

There Are No Fees for Direct Deposit!

Alterna gives you access to your money as soon as the funds are electronically deposited into your card account. Your employer will make those funds available on the day you would have received your paycheck, and sometimes it arrives up to two days earlier.

You will have all of the benefits of the Alterna card with the added convenience of recurring automatic payroll deposit every pay period. For non-banked employees, this means not only the convenience of immediate access to funds through the ATM network, but you will also not pay a fee when loading via direct deposit,3 unlike many check cashing stores.
